 We realize the lack of scientific literature in the regional languages. That's why we decided to fulfil this gap by writing articles on various topics of science in regional languages. This activity is under DBT STAR College scheme of government of India. Hard work and commitment of all the members of the  Science Club, Fergusson college helped to complete this activity. We're so grateful to have all of you with us! We completed this activity without using money and hence we proved that great work not only requires money but excellent teamwork.

Many of us struggled while writing these articles as it was our first time to write in regional languages. To write these articles all the members first took out all the information they could about their subject understood it  and then produced that complicated data and transformed it into a simple piece of literature in their regional languages. It was a very tough task but we nailed it !  The secret behind the success of this activity was the mutual cooperation between members. 

The members of Science Club, few faculties and Dr. Prakash Joglekar (naturalist) contributed to this piece of literature.
